Dr. Cosette Jamieson
Dr. Cosette Jamieson is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She received her medical degree from Howard University Medical School in 1986, and completed her residency and fellowship at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. After a few years as a teaching practitioner on the Washington Hospital Center staff, Dr. Jamieson went into private practice, where she established a successful nephrology practice located in the District of Columbia.
With her determination and hard work, she currently serves as the Medical Director of the RAI Dialysis faculty of D.C. and Hyattsville. She manages and cares for dialysis patients in the Maryland and D.C. areas.
In addition to her private practice responsibilities, she maintains privileges at several area hospitals, including Washington Hospital Center a division of MedStar and Providence Hospital Center. Dr. Jamieson still finds the time to assist the teaching staff for internal medicine residents and medical students at Providence and Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Jamieson’s excellence in teaching and patient care has awarded her the recognition in The Washingtonian where she was voted one of the Top Nephrologists in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.

Dr. Kevin Griffiths
Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Hypertension
Dr. Kevin Orlando Griffiths is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and earned his medical degree and Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Administration at the University of Medicine and Dentistry – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Griffiths completed his internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship training at the same institution.
Dr. Griffiths is a Fellow with the American Society of Nephrology, an honorship for those who have distinguished themselves through excellence in clinical practice or research. Additionally, he was selected to serve on the Council of Practicing Nephrologists for the American Society of Nephrology. This group provides recommendations for clinical care to nephrologists throughout the United States.
In 2012, Dr. Griffiths was selected as one of the “Leading Physicians of the World” in the field of nephrology. Also, he has been recognized as one of “America’s Top Physicians” in Nephrology for the years of 2009-2013 by the Consumer Research Council of America.
Dr. Griffiths joined Metro Renal Associates in 2008 and is now a partner in the practice that serves kidney disease and dialysis patients in the District of Columbia and Maryland. He serves as a Medical Director at the dialysis facility RAI of D.C. He specializes in managing patients who choose to perform in-center, peritoneal or home hemo-dialysis. Additionally, he treats renal transplant patients, patients inflicted with chronic kidney disease, difficult to control hypertension, as well as patients who suffer from renal stones. Dr. Griffiths provides clinical instruction in the field of internal medicine to medical students and internal medicine residents at Washington Hospital Center and Providence Hospital in the District of Columbia. He also teaches a class for individuals inflicted with severe kidney disease on a bimonthly basis.
